Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Room Attendants and inspect hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies.
2. Assign work to Room Attendants and train personnel in housekeeping duties; may perform cleaning duties.
3. Post room occupancy records.
4. Address guest complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
5. Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements.
6. Examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
7. Check and count linens and supplies, and aid in budget control through supervision of employees' use of linen, supplies, and equipment.
8. Record inspection results and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
9. Communicate with other hotel departments regarding issues requiring their attention.
10. Ensure key control policies are followed.
11. Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
12. Inspect the cleanliness level in guest rooms, storage areas, laundry areas, restrooms, and public areas.
13. Assist in scheduling staff according to standards and forecasted occupancy; assign daily work tasks.
14. Distribute keys and work assignments to staff.
15. Complete follow-up on vacant or occupied rooms.
16. Ensure the completion of the Housekeepers Report and communicate room status to the Guest Services Department.
17. Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, following up to ensure satisfaction.
18. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
