Riggs Washington DC is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to assist the Director of Housekeeping in daily operations and to lead a diverse team of room attendants and service staff. You will help schedule, coordinate, and inspect areas to maintain the highest cleanliness standards across 181 rooms while collaborating with engineering on room maintenance.

The role emphasizes a fun, welcoming personality, strong communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1–2 years hospitality experience, especially in housekeeping, is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule is required to meet business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Housekeeping in daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, systems and SOPs.
• Coordinate the efficient running of the Housekeeping and Laundry/Valet departments daily.
• Schedule staff based on rooming forecasts and manage payroll/purchasing reports.
• Conduct inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering to oversee maintenance and ensure out-of-order rooms are returned to inventory promptly.
