Job summary

TBC Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee and elevate housekeeping operations at our DC Embassy Row property. You will lead a team, ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards, and partner with front desk and maintenance to address guest needs.

Qualifications

1 year of prior housekeeping management experience.
Read, write, and speak English fluently; Spanish preferred.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff including housemen, housekeepers, laundry attendants, and supervisors.
Coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
Oversee daily housekeeping tasks such as room cleaning, turndown service, linen and towel management, and replenishment of amenities.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to deliver a superior guest experience.
Manage housekeeping supplies, cleaning products, and linens to ensure stock levels while optimizing cost efficiency.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of housekeeping staff.
