Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor for the Renaissance Las Vegas, a 548-room smoke-free property. You will oversee guest room assignments, supervise GRA staff, and ensure adherence to standards while maintaining efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in related field helpful.
• Two to three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Requires bending and reaching; prolonged standing and walking; basic math; ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.

Responsibilities

• Print the Housekeeping report and VIP report; check room discrepancies in the system.
• Assign rooms to GRA staff according to staffing guidelines and room credits.
• Mark all room/guest requests clearly on assignment sheets; record lunch times.
• Maintain and copy GRA assignment sheets for records and supervisor references.
• Answer housekeeping phones; log messages and dispatch accordingly.
• Record facilities/maintenance work orders and log in Guestware.
• Place purchase orders after inventory review and track approvals and deliveries.
• Assign, replace or change rooms to ensure all rooms are covered; monitor occupancy forecast.
• Oversee end-of-day floor closings and ensure carts are clean and restocked.
• Inspect VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office; ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office/Engineering for work orders and repairs; follow through to completion.
• Assist with training Housekeeping staff; ensure completion of cleaning projects.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and adherence to policies.
