Job summary

Cornerstone Hospitality is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Director to lead our hotel taskforce, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure clean, safe accommodations. This on-site role partners with the GM to train staff, manage budgets, and maintain brand standards while enhancing audit results.

The candidate will oversee scheduling, performance coaching, and cross‑department collaboration, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 2-3 years experience as Housekeeping Manager or hospitality leadership.
• Proven success in turning failing scores into passing scores.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping systems and software (HMS, OPERA, FOSSE, VMS).
• Degree in Hospitality or Business preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team, working daily.
• Develop and execute plans to raise property housekeeping scores.
• Organize and prepare employee schedules covering all shifts.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and support.
• Manage budgets and supply inventory.
• Monitor daily SALT scores and implement improvement strategies.
• Prepare for QA inspections to ensure brand compliance.
• Collaborate with other leaders to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and operational procedures compliance.
• Document activities and report to upper management.
