Job summary

The Firebrand is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team at a property in Whitefish, Montana. This role offers a $30 hourly rate and opportunities for family-style perks and benefits.

Responsibilities include training and supervising the housekeeping staff, organizing daily tasks, and ensuring all hotel areas meet Averill Hospitality standards. Evening/life cycle duties and payroll oversight are included to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School or High School equivalent is an asset.
• Prior experience in related fields is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise housekeeping staff to meet Averill Hospitality standards.
• Assign boards and conduct stand-up meetings at the start of each shift for clear communication.
• Oversee daily tasks of Housekeepers, Housemen, Laundry Attendant and Breakfast Attendant.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure readiness for check-in.
• Create employee schedules and handle payroll for the housekeeping department.
• Order supplies and manage inventory for the housekeeping department.
• Coordinate with Front Office to handle work orders and maintain safety procedures.
