Job summary

The Whitefish Riverfront Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead and motivate the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms are cleaned and maintained to Averill Hospitality standards. You will train staff, assign daily tasks, manage schedules and payroll, and uphold safety and quality policies across front and back of house.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and guest service, with opportunities for full-time, year-round employment and company discounts at related properties

Qualifications

• High School or High School equivalent is an asset.
• Prior experience in related fields is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Assign daily boards to team members.
• Oversee daily tasks of Housekeepers, Laundry Attendant and Breakfast Attendant.
• Create and implement SOPs for quality insurance.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning for check-in readiness.
• Create employee schedules and payroll for housekeeping.
• Manage supplies and inventory for housekeeping.
• Report maintenance issues to Front Office for work orders.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Assist other departments to ensure guest service excellence.
