Job summary

The Whitefish Riverfront Hotel, part of Averill Hospitality, seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead and develop the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms and public areas meet Averill Hospitality standards. You will train staff, assign daily boards, and supervise housekeeping tasks across front and back of house.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housekeeping team or similar service staff.
• Ability to develop SOPs and maintain standards across front and back of house.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the housekeeping team on daily tasks.
• Assign boards and schedules to staff at the start of each shift.
• Oversee daily tasks of Housekeepers, Housemen, Laundry Attendant and Breakfast Attendant.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning for readiness and quality.
• Create employee schedules and handle payroll for the housekeeping department.
• Order supplies and manage inventory for the department.
• Report maintenance issues to Front Office and follow safety policies.
• Maintain positive relations with vendors and the community.
