Job summary

Dutch Wonderland Inn is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team and ensure guestrooms and public areas meet brand standards. You will coach staff, manage staffing and timekeeping, and maintain safety and quality across the department.

You will collaborate with Lodging leadership to optimize room readiness, handle guest requests, and oversee daily operations. The role requires English fluency and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping or hotel/lodging experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Language ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to established standards.
• Provide leadership, coaching, direction, and support to housekeeping team members.
• Hire, onboard, train, coach, recognize, and discipline assigned team members.
• Ensure team members are trained on procedures, safety, equipment, and brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and laws.
• Maintain adequate linens, supplies, and housekeeping materials.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and other leaders to prioritize room readiness.
• Respond to guest requests and service recovery opportunities.
• Lead by example in guest service, safety, cleanliness, professionalism, and accountability.
• Perform housekeeping duties as necessary to support operations.
