Job summary

Herschend Family Entertainment is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for Dutch Wonderland Inn to lead daily housekeeping operations, coach a team, and ensure rooms and public areas meet brand standards. You will collaborate with lodging leaders to optimize staffing, scheduling, and guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires strong leadership, English fluency, and the ability to manage inventory, timekeeping, and performance in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping or hotel/lodging experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Fluent English required; bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to standards.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the housekeeping team.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, and performance coaching.
• Ensure guestrooms and public areas meet brand standards and are ready for guest arrival.
• Work with Front Desk and other leaders to prioritize room readiness and respond to needs.
• Ensure safety, proper labeling of chemicals, and compliance with policies and laws.
• Monitor inventory and assist with supply ordering and replenishment.
• Schedule staffing and track timekeeping for accuracy.
