As the Housekeeping Manager, you will have a key leadership role, responsible for maintaining our hotel standards. You will ensure that the housekeeping department meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency, leading a dynamic team to keep guest rooms, public spaces, and other areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in hiring, training, supervising, coaching, and counseling housekeeping staff.
2. Establish cleanliness standards for all housekeeping areas.
3. Set long-term goals and direction for the department with the Director of Rooms.
4. Monitor departmental costs to ensure budget adherence.
5. Inspect guest rooms, public, and back-of-house areas for compliance with standards.
6. Perform manual duties as needed to cover staff shortages.
7. Promote safety and security within assigned areas.
8. Ensure excellent guest and staff rapport by responding promptly and courteously to requests.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
• Judgment and control over team performance.
• Clear communication and leadership skills.
