As the Housekeeping Manager, you will have a key leadership role and are in charge of maintaining our hotel. As the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel is important to all our guests, you will ensure that the housekeeping department meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will assist in leading this dynamic team and ensure that hotel guest rooms, public spaces, and other areas of the hotel are clean and organized.

What will you be doing?

  1. Assist in hiring, training, supervising and coaching and counseling the Housekeeping staff.
  2. Establishes standards of cleanliness for all Housekeeping areas of responsibility.
  3. Plots direction and long term goals for the Housekeeping Department with the Director of Rooms.
  4. Controls and analyzes, on an on-going basis, departmental cost to ensure performance against budget.
  5. Ensures that all designated guestrooms receive service. Inspects guestrooms, public and back-of-house areas as assigned and ensures compliance with standards.
  6. Performs manual duties of associates as necessary to cover temporary staff shortages. Participates in the promotion of safety and security in assigned areas.
  7. Promotes excellent guest/associate rapport by reacting promptly, efficiently and courteously to all guest and associate requests.
