Job summary

Loews Coral Gables Hotel is hiring for a dynamic hotel housekeeping teammate. You will maintain guest rooms and public areas, ensure high cleanliness standards, and support guest satisfaction in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications include basic English, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 150 pounds as needed. Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays is required; prior hospitality experience is a plus.

• Basic English language skills
• Requires extensive standing, walking, lifting and bending
• Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 150 pounds repetitively during entire shift
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be customer-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skills

Responsibilities

• Reports to work as scheduled in proper uniform
• Maintains a friendly positive attitude and guest experience
• Follow hotel policies and housekeeping procedures
• Communicate effectively over radio
• Respond to room attendant requests and HotSOS tasks
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas and back-of-house spaces
• Ensure cleanliness of guest corridors and lobby areas
• Handle guest interactions with courtesy and professionalism
• Attend departmental meetings and trainings
• Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner
• Stock and organize linen closets
• Dispose of trash and maintain equipment cleanliness
• Assist with washing and delivering glassware to designated areas
• Adhere to safety regulations and hotel policies
• Recycle where possible
