Job summary

Loews Coral Gables Hotel in Florida is seeking a proactive Public Area Attendant to maintain spotless public spaces and elevate guest impressions. You will guard first impressions by ensuring lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells shine with cleanliness and care.

You’ll join a team that values hospitality, attention to detail, reliability, safety, and positive problem solving. Flexible scheduling and training are provided to support your growth and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shift.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells.
• Stock and organize housekeeping supplies; storerooms neat and secure.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to keep the property in top condition.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and follow guidelines.
• Assist guests with information about hotel facilities and services.
• Attend departmental meetings and collaborate with the team for seamless operations.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Uphold OSHA safety protocols and hotel standards for emergency procedures and chemical handling.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to push, lift, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs repetitively during entire shift.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
