Loews Coral Gables Hotel is seeking a proactive Public Area Attendant to maintain spotless, welcoming public spaces that elevate every guest experience. You will guard first impressions by ensuring cleanliness and care in lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells.

Ideal candidates are hospitality enthusiasts, detail-oriented, reliable team players, and safety advocates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in making guests feel at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate public spaces-including lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells to ensure a welcoming guest experience.
• Stock and organize housekeeping supplies, keeping storerooms neat and secure.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to keep the property in top condition.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and follow all guidelines.
• Assist guests with accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
• Attend departmental meetings and collaborate with your team for seamless operations.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Uphold OSHA safety protocols and hotel standards for emergency procedures and chemical handling.
• Regular attendance and flexibility with schedules.
• Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
