Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate for the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square in New Orleans. The role focuses on thorough cleaning across arenas, restrooms, seating areas, and associated spaces with attention to safety and cleanliness.

Applicants should be prepared for long shifts and event-based hours. Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years janitorial experience, and a valid US driver’s license.

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, climb stairs.
• Able to stand for long periods and work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean facilities as described (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing floors, trash removal, toilets, mirrors, walls, seats).
• Handle housekeeping equipment and supplies (brooms, mops, gloves, cleaning solutions).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Janitor for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct all cleaning duties, including sweeping and vacuuming carpets, sweeping, mopping and waxing floors, trash pick up and removal, cleaning toilets and urinals, cleaning and shining mirrors, cleaning walls, and trash cans, cleaning arena seats, dusting furniture, etc.
• Control of housekeeping equipment, including but not limited to brooms, mops, buckets and wringer, toilet brushes, garbage bags, push brooms, cleaning cloths, gloves, mask and cleaning solutions, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a driving record and criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical capability to lift, push up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, climb stairs and work at heights up to 21 stories, operate cleaning equipment as required. The position is often exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, dust, noise, wet floors, etc.
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years janitorial/custodial experience required

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must possess a valid United States Driver’s License at time of appointment and throughout employment
