Job summary

Legends Global, based in New Orleans, seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping operations across the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during events and beyond. You will supervise front-line supervisors, coordinate staffing, and ensure cleanliness and compliance with policies.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-demand venue environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of staffing requirements for large venues.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of management principles related to personnel deployment.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and meet with vendors for facility needs.
• Train housekeeping staff and stay current with industry knowledge.
• Tour the facility to ensure cleanliness inside and outside.
• Oversee housekeeping operations for the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during and after events.
• Function as a manager when needed.
• Provide recommendations to management on disciplinary actions.
• Enforce all policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, meets with vendors to discuss and determine which will be used in the facility inside and outside maintenance personnel
• Train housekeeping staff as well as gaining up-to-date knowledge through seminars, etc.
• Tour the facility to ensure cleanliness inside and outside
• Oversee all operations for housekeeping at the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during and post-event
• Able to function as a manager when needed
• Provide recommendations to management if disciplinary actions are necessary
• Enforce all policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
