Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager for the Legends Global venues in New Orleans (Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, Champions Square). You will supervise housekeeping staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate with vendors to maintain cleanliness and safety across all events.

We value English and Spanish fluency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors.
• Oversee operations for housekeeping at the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during events.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate with vendors.
• Train housekeeping staff and keep up-to-date through seminars.
• Enforce policies and procedures and ensure cleanliness inside and outside the facilities.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, meets with vendors to discuss and determine which will be used in the facility inside and outside maintenance personnel
• Train housekeeping staff as well as gaining up-to-date knowledge through seminars, etc.
• Tour the facility to ensure cleanliness inside and outside
• Oversee all operations for housekeeping at the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during and post-event
• Able to function as a manager when needed
• Provide recommendations to management if disciplinary actions are necessary
• Enforce all policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must have knowledge of staffing requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills for planning coverage around events required
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of management principles and procedures as relates to personnel deployment and utilization
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
