Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a dedicated janitor to support housekeeping operations at Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square in New Orleans. The role involves extensive cleaning tasks, equipment handling, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates must be at least 18, pass background checks, and have 1-2 years custodial experience. A valid US driver’s license is required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods is essential.

• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing floors, trash removal, restroom cleaning, mirrors, walls and seating areas.
• Operate and care for housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Janitor for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct all cleaning duties, including sweeping and vacuuming carpets, sweeping, mopping and waxing floors, trash pick up and removal, cleaning toilets and urinals, cleaning and shining mirrors, cleaning walls, and trash cans, cleaning arena seats, dusting furniture, etc.
• Control of housekeeping equipment, including but not limited to brooms, mops, buckets and wringer, toilet brushes, garbage bags, push brooms, cleaning cloths, gloves, mask and cleaning solutions, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

• Must successfully pass a driving record and criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical capability to lift, push up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, climb stairs and work at heights up to 21 stories, operate cleaning equipment as required. The position is often exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, dust, noise, wet floors, etc.
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years janitorial/custodial experience required

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must possess a valid United States Driver’s License at time of appointment and throughout employment
