Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Champions Square in New Orleans. You will supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, coordinate staffing for events, and oversee daily cleaning operations during and after events.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of maintenance or supervisory experience, and strong English and Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must have knowledge of staffing requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills for planning coverage around events required
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of management principles and procedures as relates to personnel deployment and utilization
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, Scheduling Clerk, Storeroom Manager, and Housekeeping Event Supervisors
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, meets with vendors to discuss and determine which will be used in the facility inside and outside maintenance personnel
• Train housekeeping staff as well as gaining up-to-date knowledge through seminars, etc.
• Tour the facility to ensure cleanliness inside and outside
• Oversee all operations for housekeeping at the Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square during and post-event
• Able to function as a manager when needed
• Provide recommendations to management if disciplinary actions are necessary
• Enforce all policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
