Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a dependable janitor to support cleaning operations for Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center and Champions Square in New Orleans, LA. You will perform general cleaning, restroom sanitation, and responsible equipment handling during events.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years janitorial experience, and can pass a background check. The role requires physical stamina and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a driving record and criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, and trash removal.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist during events and respond to cleaning requests as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Janitor for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.

• Conduct all cleaning duties, including sweeping and vacuuming carpets, sweeping, mopping and waxing floors, trash pick up and removal, cleaning toilets and urinals, cleaning and shining mirrors, cleaning walls, and trash cans, cleaning arena seats, dusting furniture, etc.
• Control of housekeeping equipment, including but not limited to brooms, mops, buckets and wringer, toilet brushes, garbage bags, push brooms, cleaning cloths, gloves, mask and cleaning solutions, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

• Physical capability to lift, push up to 50 lbs., stoop, bend, climb stairs and work at heights up to 21 stories, operate cleaning equipment as required. The position is often exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, dust, noise, wet floors, etc.
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hours
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years janitorial/custodial experience required

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must possess a valid United States Driver's License at time of appointment and throughout employment
