Overview

As a AM/PM Mobile Driver, you are responsible for driving the mobile truck to transport linen, furniture, and other items over specified routes on the resort, loading and unloading transported items, and timely transporting and stocking of clean and soiled linen around the resort during the AM/PM shifts (AM 8am-4:30pm, PM 4pm-12:30am).

Responsibilities

The PM Mobile Driver's typical job functions include:

• Picking up, transporting, and delivering items around the resort
• Complying with local traffic regulations
• Enforcing safety procedures during loading, unloading, and transporting
• Checking gas, oil, and mechanical condition before departure and reporting defects
• Ensuring vehicles meet maintenance schedules
• Monitoring hallways, corridors, and storage areas for soiled linen pick-up
• Loading soiled linen, trash, and other items for transport
• Unloading and delivering supplies and stock
• Checking cleanliness of halls and lobbies and reporting maintenance issues
• Maintaining utility and storage rooms
• Responding to calls for cleanup and supply delivery
• Communicating effectively across resort departments
• Following safety data sheet regulations when using chemicals
• Operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums and extractors
• Transporting amenities to guest rooms
• Completing special tasks assigned by management
• Responding to guest requests for supplies or information
• Reporting problems promptly to supervisors
• Assisting other staff as needed
• Checking staffing schedules for daily changes
• Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications

This position may be suitable for you if:

• You are 18 years or older
• You have a high school diploma or GED
• You possess a valid driver's license
• You are available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (4pm-12:30am shift)
• You can regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently 50 pounds, and occasionally 75 pounds
• You can walk and move throughout the resort in various weather conditions
• You are interested in being part of a team
