Job description

Overview

As a AM/PM Mobile Driver, you are responsible for driving the mobile truck to transport linen, furniture, and other items over specified routes around the resort, loading and unloading transported items, and ensuring timely transportation and stocking of clean and soiled linen during the AM/PM shifts (AM 8am-4:30pm, PM 4pm-12:30am).

Responsibilities

The PM Mobile Driver typically performs the following duties:

• Picking up, transporting, and delivering items around the resort
• Complying with local traffic regulations
• Enforcing safety procedures during loading, unloading, and transporting
• Checking vehicle conditions (gas, oil, mechanical) before departure and reporting issues
• Ensuring vehicles meet maintenance schedules
• Monitoring hallways, corridors, and storage areas for linen pickup
• Loading soiled linen, trash, and other items for transport
• Unloading and delivering supplies as needed
• Inspecting cleanliness in halls and lobbies and reporting maintenance concerns
• Checking stock in utility and storage rooms and maintaining order
• Responding to calls for cleanup and supply delivery
• Communicating effectively across resort departments
• Familiarizing with chemical safety data sheets when using chemicals
• Operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums and polishers
• Delivering amenities to guest rooms, including beds and furniture
• Completing additional tasks assigned by management
• Responding to guest requests promptly
• Keeping supervisors informed of issues
• Assisting other staff as needed
• Checking staffing schedules regularly
• Performing other related duties

Qualifications

This position may be suitable if:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent
• You possess a valid driver’s license
• You are available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (4pm-12:30am shift)
• You can regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• You can walk and move throughout the resort in various weather conditions
• You are interested in being part of a team
