Job summary

Madeira Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean and safe resident environments. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, assist with room and common area cleaning, and follow infection control practices while upholding HIPAA and privacy standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read, write, and understand English. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service to residents and families, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, trash).
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, and corridors.
• Disinfect and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and furniture.
• Empty ashtrays and clean walls, ceilings, and floors as needed.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Participate in infection control practices and universal precautions.
• Maintain appearance of maintenance work areas and minimize waste of supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff.
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
