Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to support care facilities in Morris Plains, NJ. You will perform daily housekeeping, assist with rooms and common areas, and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and taking out trash.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas and corridors.
• Disinfect and sanitize surfaces, equipment and furniture to maintain a clean environment.
• Empty ashtrays daily and clean walls, ceilings and floors as needed.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in infection control and universal precautions practices.
• Maintain appearance of maintenance work areas and minimize waste of supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families and staff.
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
