As a Housekeeping Aide, you will perform daily cleaning, disinfect surfaces, maintain resident rooms and common areas, and provide exceptional service to residents, families, and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• English language reading, writing, speaking, and understanding required.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, trash.
• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and corridors.
• Disinfect surfaces and equipment to maintain a clean environment.
• Empty ashtrays and clean walls, ceilings, and floors as needed.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Support infection control and universal precautions practices.
• Keep maintenance work areas tidy and minimize waste of supplies.
• Provide exceptional service to residents, families, and staff.
• Work well as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned, including but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and taking out the trash

• Assist with cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, and corridors

• Disinfect and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and furniture to maintain a clean and healthy environment

• Empties ashtrays daily and cleans walls, ceilings, and floors as needed

• Reports any hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor

• Participates in infection control and universal precautions practices

• Maintains the appearance of maintenance work areas and minimizes waste of supplies

• Provides exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff

• Demonstrates ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues

• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of maintenance work areas
