Job summary

Ashland-Place Health and Rehabilitation LLC in Mobile, AL seeks a Housekeeping Aide (Full-Time) to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents. The role supports resident health, comfort, dignity, and quality of life through diligent cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas.

You will follow daily schedules, use approved cleaning products, and work with a compassionate team to serve seniors and rehabilitation patients.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Compassion and respect for elderly and disabled residents
• Dependable with regular and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, disinfect, and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and other assigned areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Properly use approved cleaning products and equipment.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors
