Greenville Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe living spaces for residents and staff. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, sanitize rooms, and support infection control practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain and use cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to minimize waste of supplies and maintain cleaning practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and trash removal.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, and hallways.
• Disinfect and sanitize surfaces and equipment to uphold a clean environment.
• Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in infection control and universal precautions practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff.
• Support team members and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned, including but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and taking out the trash
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, and corridors
• Disinfect and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and furniture to maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Empties ashtrays daily and cleans walls, ceilings, and floors as needed
• Reports any hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
• Participates in infection control and universal precautions practices
• Maintains the appearance of maintenance work areas and minimizes waste of supplies
• Provides exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff
• Demonstrates ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA requirements
