Job summary

HOTEL NAME is seeking a Housekeeper Supervisor in Portland, Oregon. You will supervise housekeeping operations to ensure hotel rooms and public areas meet brand standards, while inspecting units daily and ensuring deficiencies are addressed promptly.

Responsibilities include supervising attendants, maintaining cleanliness across hallways and guest spaces, and greeting guests warmly. Prior housekeeping experience and attention to detail are preferred, with availability for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages room cleaning operations to ensure methods meet company and brand standards and keeps room cleaning deficiencies to a minimum.
• Inspects assigned units each day, ensuring that all standards are met and corrective action is taken by attendants as required.
• Inspect VIP rooms daily.
• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Strip linens from guest rooms.
• Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards.
• Refurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
