Overview

We are currently seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a focus on maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a welcoming environment. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience and maintaining our hotel's high standards.

Job Summary

The Housekeeper Position is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and properly sanitized. This position also assists in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the public areas of the hotel. This is a service oriented position and requires good interpersonal communication skills and friendly professionalism while attending to guest requests. You are required to respect the privacy of our guests and are entrusted with the safekeeping of our guest’s belongings.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas and public areas using appropriate checklists.
• Ensure housekeeping departmental standards and checklists are followed.
• Respond in a timely manner to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
• Maintain inventory of necessary supplies.
• Work quickly and efficiently for a timely readiness of the rooms for guest arrival.
• Communicate room readiness promptly to the Front Desk.
• Report necessary maintenance items.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Sanitize all cleaning tools including mops, brooms, etc., at the end of shift.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and fellow staff members.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
