Job summary

Avera St Anthony's Hospital is seeking a housekeeping/environmental services team member for PRN, as-needed shifts. You will maintain a clean environment across patient rooms, nurse stations, lounges, and lobby areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming setting for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include dusting, washing, mopping, vacuuming, stocking supplies, managing cleaning carts, and delivering linens while maintaining professional relations with patients and coworkers.

• Must be able to work the hours specified and perform all essential job functions with adequate vision and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
• Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
• Maintain good customer relations at all times.
• May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.

Education

High School or GED Equivalent

One to three months related experience

Preferred Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience
