Job summary

Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. You will maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming spaces for residents, visitors, and staff, supporting infection prevention and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping in healthcare, hospital, skilled nursing or hospitality settings preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and furnishings.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with linen distribution and laundry duties as needed.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Complete special cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
