Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. Location: Diablo Valley Post Acute. Pay rate: $18.54 per hour.

You will help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to work independently or with a team, and commitment to infection control and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or hospitality cleaning experience a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation, and infection control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and furnishings.
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with linen distribution and laundry duties as needed.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Complete special cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, hospital, or hospitality setting preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and infection control practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift.
