Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel while delivering exceptional guest service. You will act as an advocate for the hotel and create memorable, personal experiences that encourage guests to return.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobby, meeting spaces, and rooms, setting up functions, and assisting with morning coffee and evening concierge events.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service or similar position.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Passion for customer service and good verbal communication skills, basic writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, including lobby, hallways, and public areas.
• Clean and set up meeting room functions according to function sheets.
• Deep clean of rooms and public spaces as assigned (shampooing).
• Set up and maintain complimentary hotel lobby functions including morning coffee service and nightly concierge events.
• Deliver housekeeping items (hair dryers, ironing boards, irons, etc.) to guest rooms upon request.
• Get assignments, keys, pager, and special guest requests from your supervisor at the start of shift.
• Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools.
• Respond quickly and politely to guest requests.
• Return lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
• We all wear multiple hats here; you may take on additional responsibilities as needed.
