Job summary

Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living seeks a dedicated Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. Shifts run 7:00AM–3:30PM or 2:00PM–10:30PM. All residents are within the community, so no travel is required.

We offer competitive pay starting at $16.00/hr and a robust benefits package. Responsibilities include cleaning resident homes, maintaining clean common areas, and assisting with trash removal. Prior cleaning experience is ideal; ability to operate housekeeping equipment and vehicles

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in residential or commercial settings is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home.
• Maintain community cleanliness with specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, including fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean lobbies and living areas, vacuum, dust, declutter, trash removal.
• Clean classrooms, dusting, vacuuming, boards, and tables/chairs.
• Assist with trash collection, bagging, disposal, and liners replacement.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces through extraction, drying, and vacuuming.

Join our team as a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM or 2:00PM-10:30PM

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
