Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to promote a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and staff. The role emphasizes cleanliness, infection prevention and teamwork in a compassionate setting.

Hours are 9:30AM-6:00PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays; PTO begins on day one. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a willingness to obtain mandatory reporting certification if needed.

Qualifications

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED PREFERRED.
• ADULT/CHILD ABUSE MANDATORY REPORTER CERTIFICATION OR COMPLETION ACCORDING TO EDUCATION POLICY.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties that promote a safe and sanitary environment.
• Clean and maintain all patient care areas preventing the spread of infection.
• Removal of trash, monitor supply of linens and clean office areas as assigned.
• Candidate will be committed to a team approach and use effective interpersonal skills in working with patients, visitors, and co-workers.
