Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA is seeking a full-time housekeeper to help maintain a safe, sanitary facility for patients, visitors and staff. Shift is 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. PTO is available on Day 1.

You will perform cleaning of patient care areas, remove trash, monitor linens, and assist in general office cleaning while following safety and infection-prevention practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping experience helpful.
• Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certification or completion according to Education Policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties that promote a safe and sanitary environment.
• Clean and maintain all patient care areas preventing the spread of infection.
• Removal of trash, monitor supply of linens and clean office areas as assigned.
