Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA seeks a dependable housekeeper to promote a safe and sanitary environment across patient care areas. Hours are 10:30AM-7:00PM, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. PTO available from day one and a positive work environment.

The role emphasizes removing trash, maintaining clean offices, and supporting infection prevention while collaborating with a compassionate team to serve patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping experience helpful.
• Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certification or completion according to Education Policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties that promote a safe and sanitary environment.
• Clean and maintain all patient care areas preventing the spread of infection.
• Removal of trash, monitor supply of linens and clean office areas as assigned.
• Candidate will be committed to a team approach and use effective interpersonal skills in working with patients, visitors, and co-workers.
