Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment. This role supports infection prevention and patient care areas while collaborating with staff and patients in a respectful, team-oriented setting.

The position offers an afternoon shift (10:30 AM–7:00 PM), with rotating weekends and holidays, and benefits that include PTO from day one. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping experience helpful.
• Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certification or completion according to Education Policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties to promote a safe and sanitary environment.
• Clean and maintain all patient care areas and prevent the spread of infection.
• Remove trash, monitor linen supply, and clean assigned offices.
• Work as part of a team and use effective interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
