North Carolina State University is seeking a Housekeeper at the Vernon James Research and Extension Center in Plymouth, NC. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8 am–12 pm, in Plymouth, NC, with a strong emphasis on cleaning, safety, and customer service.
The selected candidate will lift up to 60 lbs, work in a dynamic environment serving faculty and staff, and join a team dedicated to maintaining clean, orderly facilities at the Vernon James Center.

The primary purpose of this position is to clean and perform routine housekeeping duties at the Vernon James Center.

This position requires a high degree of flexibility to respond to and coordinate with the needs of the faculty, staff, and public. Communication with the team and supervisor is critical for success.
This position is located in Plymouth, NC.
This position is for 20 hours per week.
Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Special certification may be required for some of these positions.
