Avenues Recovery Center in Norfolk, VA is hiring a dedicated housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and smooth operation of our detox and residential facility. You will perform routine custodial tasks, restock supplies, and support daily operations under the guidance of the Executive Director.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of related experience; no formal education is required. Recovery-oriented individuals with strong communication, time management, and attention to detail are

• No formal education required.
• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage, bedding etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
