Job summary

Essex Meadows is seeking a full-time Housekeeper in Essex, CT to maintain the cleanliness of resident apartments, the healthcare center, and community areas. You will work an 8-hour day shift, with weekends, holidays, and events as needed.

The role pays $18 per hour and includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to six months’ experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.

Our Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of our resident private apartment homes, common areas throughout the community, and our healthcare center, as applicable.
