Job summary

Essex Meadows Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of resident apartments, common areas, and the healthcare center as needed.

This full-time role includes 8-hour day shifts, weekends, holidays, and events as required, with a pay rate of $18 per hour in Essex, CT. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to six months' experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Maintains cleanliness of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Keeps equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Performs a variety of housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents.

Our Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of our resident private apartment homes, common areas throughout the community, and our healthcare center, as applicable.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper:

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Three to six months' experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.
