Job summary

StoneRidge Senior Living Community in Mystic, CT, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain sanitation of apartments, common areas, the Health Center, and Cottages. Duties include EVS support and occasional laundry tasks as needed. The role requires flexibility to accommodate business needs.

Starting pay is $17.10 per hour with a 40-hour week and potential weekend shifts. Excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth are offered as the community expands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand, communicate effectively, and follow instructions in English is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting all cleared, flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.
• Cross-trains in all EVS assignments, including laundry and cottages.

General Summary:
