Join us to apply for the Housekeeper role at Covenant Living of Colorado.

Part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, we are seeking a Housekeeper. The purpose of this position is to provide campus services in cleaning and minor maintenance requests to meet the needs of residents and staff, ensuring facilities are in good condition.

In This Role, The Housekeeper Will

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and standards, including infection control guidelines.
• Complete minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, plunging toilets, and changing batteries.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, extraction, hosting, and buffing as scheduled.
• Assist in cleaning emergency spills and perform project cleaning (walls, ceilings, vents, light fixtures, windows, etc.).
• Remove trash and recyclables, replacing liners as needed.
• Deep clean rooms/units during transfers or discharges.
• Move furniture and assist with resident moves during transfers/discharges.
• Participate in the campus linen program, including distributing, collecting, and handling linens.
• Make beds in guest rooms or residences as needed.
• Maintain and report on cleaning equipment and repairs.
• Observe and report facility repairs needed.
• Participate in receiving supplies and deliveries, and in campus snow and ice removal as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Some high school education.
• Experience in housekeeping or general maintenance.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Dependability, organization, ability to follow instructions, and work independently.
• An interest in working with older adults is preferred.
• Availability on weekends may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is $15.00 - $17.11 per hour.
