Job Description

As a Housekeeper reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will perform general housekeeping duties in resident units, public areas, and support areas, ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine and deep cleaning of assigned areas according to schedule.
  2. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean all designated areas including resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, and dining areas.
  3. Clean countertops, defrost refrigerators, dust furniture, and change linens as required.
  4. Dispose of waste properly and report any structural or equipment issues.
  5. Use cleaning equipment safely and assist with bio-hazard clean-up as directed.
  6. Maintain confidentiality and resident rights at all times.
  7. Complete reports and logs as required.
  8. Report changes in resident status to appropriate staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work well in a team and promote excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Understanding of and appreciation for seniors and the aging process.
Physical Demands
