Overview

Community First is looking for a Full Time Housekeeper to join our team at our Hamilton facility (Westover)!

Our housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas in a sanitary, safe, and attractive manner according to Infection Control and Environmental Services (EVS) procedures, as directed by the supervisor. This position ensures the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation while providing exceptional customer service.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm. No weekends or holidays.

Pay: Starts at $14 per hour, up to $15.50 based on experience (Non-negotiable).

Responsibilities:

• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as directed.
• Adhere to Infection Control protocols.
• Clean assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness, double-checking work before leaving.
• Refill paper towel and soap dispensers as needed.
• Follow laundry protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of janitor closets and supply rooms.
• Participate in training and meetings.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Assist with patient belongings during discharges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred one year of experience.
• Ability to operate EVS equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends if required.
