Part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, we are seeking a Housekeeper. The purpose of this position is to provide campus services in cleaning and minor maintenance to meet the needs of residents and employees, ensuring facilities are in good condition.

In this role, the Housekeeper will:

1. Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and standards.
2. Complete minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, plunging toilets, and changing batteries.
3. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, extraction, hosting, and buffing.
4. Assist in cleaning emergency spills and perform project cleaning (walls, ceilings, vents, light fixtures, windows).
5. Remove and replace trash and recyclables, and assist with deep cleaning during transfers/discharges.
6. Move furniture as needed and assist with resident moves.
7. Participate in campus linen programs, including distribution and collection.
8. Make beds in guest rooms or residences as needed.
9. Maintain and report on cleaning equipment and repairs.
10. Observe and report facility, furniture, or fixture repairs.
11. Participate in receiving supplies and campus snow/ice salting as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Some high school education.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
• Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written.
• Dependability, organization, ability to follow instructions, and work with limited supervision.
• An interest in working with older adults.
• Availability on weekends may be required.

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.11
