Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland seeks a Hotel House Attendant to maintain clean corridors, deliver guest items, and restock supplies, ensuring guests feel welcome and valued.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older - required.
• Good verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to seventy-five (75) lbs
• Ability to work in areas containing dust or on high floor; occasionally kneels, climbs and crawls to work in difficult positions
• Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test
• Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position

• Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.
• Reports maintenance issues
• Performs routine maintenance on vacuum cleaner
• Keeps storage areas and carts clean and orderly
• Works safe by observing safety rules and wearing proper equipment
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

• Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older- required

Base Pay

• Compensation

  $15.00 – $20.63 per hour, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
