Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Proper utilization of equipment, supplies, and guest amenities
• Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
• Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the standards set forth in the Green Program
• Practice safety standards, be aware of safety hazards (e.g., broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, suspicious persons), and properly report findings
• Respect for guests’ property should always be exercised
• Responsible care of equipment
• Report to work on time and according to posted schedule, maintain accurate time records, and follow proper standards for issuance of rooms
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co‑workers at all times
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Compensation

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
